Marketplaces — Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho
Bring orders from marketplaces into MarketSaaS, map their SKUs to your products once, and keep one stock count.
Channels
Orders → Marketplaces lists the places you sell besides your own store. Add each one as a channel:
- Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Other, or Manual (phone, shop or WhatsApp orders you type in);
- a name, and a short badge (AMZ, FK, MSH…) that marks the channel's orders in Orders;
- the seller / supplier ID, and the usual days to dispatch.
A second seller account on the same marketplace is a second channel. Your own store's orders have no channel.
The list shows each channel's platform, seller ID, orders and how its orders come in: API · auto fetch, API · fetch by hand, API not connected (Amazon / Flipkart without keys yet), File upload (Meesho, Other) or Typed in (Manual). Switch off a channel you no longer sell on — channels are never deleted, so past orders keep their source, and nothing is fetched for a switched-off channel.
Setup guide
Setup guide (top of Marketplaces, and on every channel's page) walks through Flipkart, Amazon and Meesho one tab each: add the channel (its button fills the add form for you), where to find the API keys in Seller Hub / Seller Central, the daily work, payments, mapping SKUs and what to do when something doesn't work. If you already have that channel, the guide says so and links to it.
Connecting a channel
A new Amazon or Flipkart channel opens on its connection card; Meesho, Other and Manual open on Bring orders in (file upload or adding orders by hand). Once connected, the card shows:
- Keys added · Live (or Sandbox) and Auto fetch on / off;
- the saved key, masked (fk-app…4567), the date it was saved, and Flipkart's pickup location;
- Test connection — tries the saved keys again (Flipkart also lists your pickup locations);
- Fetch orders now for the last 2, 7 or 30 days — orders already here are only updated, never doubled;
- Fetch automatically / Stop auto fetch — off, the channel is fetched only when you press Fetch orders now;
- Change keys (blank secret fields keep the saved ones) and Remove keys (orders already in stay).
Map SKUs once
Marketplaces name your products their own way (an ASIN, a seller SKU like Champion_HT). Each channel SKU has to
be mapped once to one of your products, or to its size / colour:
- A channel SKU that is the same as one of your own SKUs (ignoring capital letters) maps itself.
- On the channel's page, SKUs to map lists the SKUs that came in orders but aren't yours yet, with how many orders and units are waiting for them. Choose your product and press Map.
- Or upload a CSV with the columns
channel_skuandour_sku(your product's or size's SKU) under Map from a file.
A product with sizes or colours must be mapped to one size or colour.
Orders from a channel
An order from a channel becomes an ordinary order in Orders, confirmed, with the channel's badge and its own order ID. The order ID is searchable, and the list can be filtered by channel. Its stock is taken as soon as it comes in. GST is worked out from your product's rate on the price the buyer paid.
- An order with an unmapped SKU waits. No order is created and no stock is taken. Once you map the SKU, it's created and takes its stock, once. Mapping it again or reading the same order again changes nothing.
- The same order read in twice is kept once, whichever way it came in.
- An order cancelled on the channel while still waiting is never created.
Add an order by hand on the channel's page covers orders a marketplace doesn't send here yet, and your Manual channel.
Old orders
A newly connected Amazon or Flipkart channel only brings in new orders. To see your sales from before, open the channel and use Old orders: pick a date (up to 3 years back) and press Fetch old orders. They come in a week at a time in the background, oldest first — you can leave the page and come back; a bar shows how far it has got.
- Old orders count in your sales, reports and P&L, but don't change today's stock — the stock went out long ago. They're marked delivered; orders cancelled on the marketplace aren't brought in.
- Orders already here are left as they are, and SKUs not mapped yet wait for mapping, as usual.
- Stop ends it at any time. If the marketplace keeps refusing (five times in a row), it stops by itself and says which date to start again from.
Amazon (connected)
An Amazon channel can be connected to Amazon's Selling Partner API instead of uploading files. You need your own developer app:
- In Seller Central go to Apps and Services → Develop Apps and register as a developer (private app, your own account only).
- Create an app and authorise it for your seller account. Copy its LWA client id, client secret and the refresh token.
- On the channel's page, under Amazon connection, enter them and your seller id (Seller Central → Settings → Account info → Merchant token). Press Save and test. A wrong token is refused and nothing is saved. The secrets are stored encrypted and never shown again; leave those fields blank later to keep them.
Every 15 minutes while auto fetch is on (or when you press Fetch orders now) MarketSaaS:
- brings in orders changed since last time.
- Orders Amazon is still holding for payment are left until they're released.
- Easy Ship / self-ship orders take your stock like any channel order.
- FBA orders are recorded as sales, marked shipped, and take none of your stock (Amazon shipped them from its warehouse).
- An order cancelled on Amazon before you've packed it is cancelled here, and its stock comes back.
- confirms your shipments. Once you ship an Amazon order with a courier and AWB, its tracking is sent to Amazon, once.
- sends stock for every mapped SKU whose stock changed since it was last sent (shown as sent: N in stock in the mapped SKUs list). With Also send my store price ticked, your price is sent too. A draft product still sells on Amazon; an archived one is sent as 0.
- reads settlement reports: one payment line per order, with sale, refunds, fees, shipping, TCS and TDS. Each report is read once. You can also download a settlement report from Seller Central (Payments → Reports) and drop it on Upload files.
- reads each recent order's charges before its settlement (Amazon's financial events): for orders of the last 60 days not settled yet, a few each round, so the profit report shows Amazon's real commission, fees, shipping and TCS / TDS straight away. The settlement's line replaces it when it comes. This needs the Finance and Accounting role on your app — without it Amazon says access denied for this step only; add the role, authorise the app again and paste the new refresh token.
The connection card shows the last fetch and what it did. Remove keys removes the saved credentials; orders already in stay.
Flipkart (connected)
A Flipkart channel connects to Flipkart's Seller API:
- In Seller Hub go to Manage Profile → Developer Access and create a self-access application. Copy its application id and secret.
- Pickup location id: leave it blank if you ship from one warehouse — MarketSaaS finds it for you. With several, the message lists them (name and id) and you enter the one to use (Seller Hub → Manage Profile → Pickup locations). Your stock is sent to this location.
- On the channel's page, under Flipkart connection, enter them and press Save and test.
Then, every 15 minutes while auto fetch is on, or on Fetch orders now:
- Orders to be packed come in, with the buyer's city and state for GST. COD or prepaid is kept. Orders cancelled on Flipkart before you pack them are cancelled here, and their stock comes back.
- Pack an order here (Mark packed in Orders) and the next sync asks Flipkart for its label. Your order number is used as the invoice number. The label PDF is saved on the order (Download label), together with Flipkart's AWB and courier (Ekart). You don't book a courier yourself.
- Mark it ready to ship and Flipkart is told the shipment is ready to dispatch, once.
- When Flipkart's courier ships and delivers it, the order here follows (Shipped, then Delivered).
- Returns: courier returns (RTO) and buyers' returns reach the Returns desk, with the return AWB to scan.
- Stock for mapped SKUs goes to your pickup location when it changes.
Flipkart keeps its own prices; its settlements can be uploaded as a file.
Stock on each channel
Each channel's page has Stock on this channel:
- Hold back (units). The channel is told your stock minus this. Hold back 2, and a stock of 10 shows 8 there. This keeps a few for your own store, or covers orders that arrive late.
- Show at most. The channel never shows more than this.
- Send automatically when stock changes. On for connected channels: every sync sends the SKUs whose number changed. Off: stock goes only when you press Send stock now.
- Out of stock here. The channel is sent 0 for every SKU until you press Back in stock here. Your store and other channels aren't touched.
- Stock file (CSV). Every mapped SKU with your stock and what this channel may show. Use it for channels without an API: upload it in Meesho's inventory sheet, or keep it as a record.
- Send stock now sends the changed SKUs a few dozen at a time, with progress on the page, so a big catalogue doesn't time out. A SKU the channel refuses is tried again last and stays listed with its error.
- Read listings (connected Amazon and Flipkart) asks the channel what it shows for each mapped SKU — its quantity, status (e.g. BUYABLE) and ASIN / FSN — and shows it under each SKU as On the channel, so you can see where the channel differs from what you sent.
On Marketplaces, Out of stock everywhere — or on chosen channels takes the ticked channels out of stock in one click (for a holiday, a stock count or a supply problem), and brings them back the same way. Connected channels are told at once. Tick Website as well to switch on your store's holiday switch with them — every product shows sold out and checkout is closed, your stock untouched; bring it back the same way (or under Settings → Holiday).
Marketplace files
Every Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho channel's page has Files from the marketplace for what you download from the seller panels. The same files can be dropped on Upload files too — they're recognised there.
- Amazon reports. The order report (Seller Central → Reports → Fulfilment → All Orders, the .txt file) brings orders in: unmapped SKUs wait as usual, orders already here only get their status updated, Pending ones (payment not confirmed) are left for a later report, FBA orders take no stock, and returned / rejected parcels reach the returns desk. The settlement report (Flat File V2) adds payout lines for Check payouts.
- Flipkart reports (Seller Hub → Reports, .xlsx or the .zip): the Sales report brings orders in with the buyer's state and PIN code; the P&L report updates their status (delivered, cancelled, returned); the Settlement report adds a payout line per order item, and its other sheets' charges — ads, storage, fines, services and TCS recovery — become expenses (Advertising, or Marketplace fees; paid to Flipkart, with the GST in them), each once however often the report is read. Claims and fee rebates Flipkart paid out are money in, not costs: they're counted in the message, not added.
- Old orders in a file. Orders placed before the channel was added here come in as old orders: delivered, counted in sales, but no stock taken (as with Old orders).
- Label PDFs (Amazon and Meesho). In Seller Central print Label & invoice for the orders; from Meesho download the labels; upload the PDF. Each label is cut out and put on its order — Download label prints just that one, with Amazon's invoice page — with its AWB and courier when the order has none yet, and orders still to pack move to Packed. Labels for orders not here yet are listed: bring the orders in first, then upload the labels again. Like every label, it's forgotten 30 days after shipping.
Check payouts
Check payouts on a channel's page shows what the marketplace should have paid for each order next to what it did pay:
Fee rule. Enter the commission % (with its GST), the fixed fee and shipping per order, and TCS (0.5 %) and TDS (0.1 %) on the taxable value. Expected is the order value minus all of those.
Received is the total of the order's payment lines. They come from Meesho's payments file, Amazon's settlement report (by API or file), or any channel's file on Upload files, whenever they were paid.
Each order is marked:
- Paid: within ₹1 of expected.
- Short or Over: off by more than ₹1, with the difference shown.
- Waiting: no payment yet, but the order is under 30 days old.
- Missing: no payment 30 days after the order.
- Returned: an RTO or a buyer's return. These aren't judged.
The totals at the top show what was expected, what was received, the amount paid short and how many orders are missing. Filter by status, or download the list as CSV to raise a ticket with the marketplace.
Payouts lists each payout (UTR or settlement) in the period with its orders, sale, returns, fees, shipping, TCS / TDS and the amount that reached you. You can match that amount to the bank credit in Money → Bank & cash.
Without a fee rule, nothing paid can be called short. Missing payouts are still listed.
Write a listing with AI
With AI turned on (Settings → AI), a product's page has Write a marketplace listing (under Marketplace links). Pick Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho and press Write listing:
| Marketplace | Title | Bullet points | Description | Search terms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon | up to 200 characters | 5, up to 255 each | up to 2,000 | up to 249 bytes |
| Flipkart | up to 120 | 5 key features, up to 120 each | up to 2,000 | — |
| Meesho | up to 100 | — | up to 1,000 | — |
The text is written from the product's name, brand, category, description, sizes / colours, price, weight and size — never its cost. Add Notes for the AI (say "anti-tarnish, gift box included") and they are used too. Each marketplace has its own tab and its listing is kept: edit any line (a counter shows how much room is left) and Save. Problems the marketplace would refuse are listed — too long, fewer bullets than needed, promotional words like best or sale, symbols like ! — and a listing can be marked Ready only once they are fixed. Copy each field into the seller panel or Download CSV (the marketplace's sheet columns).
All listings
Catalogue → Listings shows every product with its listing's state on Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho — No listing, Draft, Ready, Live or Failed — with counts for the marketplace you pick, and search / category filters. Tick products and Write listings with AI (up to 20 at a time, saved as drafts), or Download sheet for the ticked products (with nothing ticked: every Ready listing) to upload in the seller panel.
Put it on Amazon
With an Amazon channel connected (API keys and seller id), the Amazon tab has List on Amazon. It works step by step and shows each one:
- If the product's seller SKU is already on Amazon, only its title, bullet points, description and search terms are replaced.
- Otherwise it picks Amazon's product type (the one set for the category, or Amazon's first match — change it under Amazon product type; the choice is remembered for the category).
- It fills Amazon's form: the listing text, brand, photos, price and MRP, stock and your seller details (manufacturer, packer, country of origin, days to ship, package size — saved once per Amazon account) are set by MarketSaaS; the AI fills the rest (colour, material, type…) from the product data, never costs or buyers.
- Amazon checks the form. If it complains, the AI fixes exactly what Amazon named (twice at most); you can also edit the attributes (JSON) yourself and press List on Amazon again.
- The listing is sent. Amazon makes it in 15 minutes to a few hours — press Check status to read its ASIN. The seller SKU is mapped to the product (so its Amazon orders and stock find it) and the store's Buy on Amazon link is added.
Start over begins again keeping the product type and attributes.
Upload files
Orders → Upload files is one place to drop any file. Upload a CSV, Excel (.xlsx), text-PDF or .zip file of up to 10 MB. MarketSaaS recognises what kind of file it is from its columns and shows its first rows. Choose the channel (or, for a statement, the account), then press Read it in.
| File | What reading it in does |
|---|---|
| Meesho orders (supplier panel → Orders → download) | Each sub-order becomes a channel order. Mapped SKUs are created as orders and take stock; unmapped ones wait; cancelled ones are kept but never created. |
| Meesho returns / RTO | Each return becomes an approved return waiting at Returns desk, with its return AWB to scan. There is no refund, because Meesho refunds its buyer. Receiving it at the desk restocks the good units. |
| Meesho payments | Each settlement line is kept: amount paid, sale, commission and fees, shipping, TCS, TDS and the UTR. These lines are what payout checking uses. |
| Bank / card statement | Goes to the statement's column step for the account you choose (see Money). |
| Amazon settlement report (Seller Central → Payments → Reports) | Kept as payment lines per order, once per settlement. |
SKU mapping (channel_sku, our_sku) |
Maps the channel's SKUs. Orders waiting for them are created. |
| Marketplace GST report (Meesho's monthly GST report .zip, Amazon's Merchant Tax Report, Flipkart's Sales Report) | Each line is kept once and set against your invoices in Reports → GST summary (see Money). |
Reading the same file again adds nothing new: orders, returns and payment lines already in are skipped. Recent uploads lists each file with what reading it in did. A team member can read in only the kinds of file their role may change: Orders for marketplace files and mappings, Money for statements.
!!! note "Marketplace buyers" The buyer of a marketplace order belongs to the marketplace. MarketSaaS sends them no emails or WhatsApp messages from your store, and they aren't added to Customers (so they never land in a segment or a broadcast).
